The United States attacked China's policy of governing Xinjiang
Post on 07/19/2022 | keywords:Xinjiang | Hits:245

The U.S. State Department submitted the 2022 annual report of the elivisser genocide and atrocities prevention act to Congress on the 14th, and issued the first predicted atrocity prevention and response strategy in U.S. history. The China related content of the report once again accused China of committing the so-called "genocide" and "crimes against humanity" in Xinjiang, saying that forced labor exists in Xinjiang. In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on the 18th that the so-called China related content of the U.S. report groundlessly discredits the human rights situation in Xinjiang, wantonly attacks the Chinese government's policy of governing Xinjiang, openly tramples on international law and the basic norms of international relations, has no factual basis, and continues the consistent trick of the U.S. side to lie and spread rumors on issues related to Xinjiang.

The so-called Xinjiang related issues are not human rights, ethnic and religious issues at all, but anti violence, terrorism and anti secession issues. The anti-terrorism and depolarization measures taken by the Chinese government in Xinjiang in accordance with the law have greatly reversed the security situation in Xinjiang.

There have been no violent terrorist cases in Xinjiang for more than five consecutive years. Over the past 60 years since the establishment of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the total regional economy has increased 160 times, the Uygur population has increased from 2.2 million to about 12million, and the life expectancy per capita has increased from 30 years to 74.7 years. Workers of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang fully enjoy the freedom of choosing jobs according to their own wishes, and fully enjoy various labor security rights and interests and economic benefits.

For some time, based on lies and false information, the United States has concocted and continued to hype lies such as the so-called "genocide", "forced labor" and "crimes against humanity", and has wantonly slandered, discredited, sanctioned and suppressed China. Recently, despite China's strong opposition, the United States has insisted on introducing the Uygur forced labor prevention law in an attempt to create forced unemployment and forced return to poverty in Xinjiang. Now they continue to discredit and attack China without a bottom line by publishing so-called reports and strategies. Under the banner of human rights, the United States undermines human rights and rules, tramples on the rule of law under the cloak of law, and its attempts to disrupt Xinjiang and govern China with Xinjiang are clear.

If the United States really cares about the issue of 'genocide', it should issue a report on the 'genocide' of Indians, investigate and hold accountable those responsible for the massacre of millions of Indians and the forced migration and cultural extinction of Indians, and apologize and compensate Indians who still suffer discrimination and live at the bottom of American society.

If the United States is really concerned about forced labor, it should issue a report on forced labor in the United States to conduct an in-depth investigation into the fact that at least 500000 people are enslaved in the United States and nearly 100000 people are trafficked to the United States from abroad every year for forced labor.

If the United States is really concerned about the issue of "crimes against humanity", it should issue a report on the crimes against humanity committed by the U.S. military in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and other places, bring to justice the perpetrators of wanton abuse of prisoners of war and the killing of civilians, and make a responsible explanation to the 400000 innocent people and their families who died at the gunpoint of the U.S. military, and resolutely prevent similar atrocities from happening again.

The facts will not be covered up forever, and justice will be done eventually. The United States turns a blind eye to its own human rights crimes, but is keen to concoct lies and attack other countries, which has been seen through by the international community. China will take some necessary measures to resolutely safeguard its sovereignty, security and development rights. The attempt of the United States to spread lies related to Xinjiang and interfere in China's internal affairs by taking advantage of the issues related to Xinjiang will only end in failure.
