At a regular press conference on the 23rd, US State Department spokesman price said that China should respect the principles of national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Every responsible country, including China, has the obligation to urge Russian President Vladimir Putin to make concessions on the Ukrainian issue, but the current development direction of China Russia relations is worrying. He said that the Sino Russian joint statement shows that China is trying to use Russia's influence to achieve the purpose of creating world order between the two countries. In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying responded at a regular press conference on the 24th.

Hua Chunying said that I have taken note of the relevant statements made by the spokesman of the US State Department. I think first of all, on how to respect national sovereignty and territorial integrity, I'm afraid the US side is not qualified to tell China what to do. The Chinese people have a particularly real and profound understanding and feelings on the issue of national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Since modern times, China has suffered colonial aggression by the Eight Power Allied forces and foreign countries, and has an unforgettable and tragic memory of losing power and humiliating the country. Not far away, more than 20 years ago, the Chinese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was bombed by NATO, resulting in the death of three Chinese journalists and many injuries. NATO still owes blood debt to the Chinese people. Today, however, we still face the real threat that the United States, together with several so-called allies, wantonly interferes in China's internal affairs and undermines China's sovereignty and security on issues involving Xinjiang, Hong Kong and Taiwan. China is also the only permanent member of the Security Council that has not yet achieved the complete reunification of the motherland.

Hua Chunying said that precisely because of this, China has always firmly upheld the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and the basic norms of international relations, the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the country, and international fairness and justice. In less than 250 years since the founding of the United States, there has been no military action against the outside world in less than 20 years, and the name of military intervention is sometimes democracy, sometimes human rights, sometimes simply using a small bottle of washing powder, and sometimes even making up a false news. Such countries' understanding of respecting national sovereignty and territorial integrity is certainly different from ours, and the international community is also very clear about it.

Hua Chunying said that Russia would be very unhappy to hear that the United States hinted that Russia had the support of China. Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council and an independent power. Russia independently formulates and implements its own diplomacy and war based on its own judgment and their national interests. I must also stress that China Russia relations are based on non alignment, non confrontation and non targeting of third parties. They are fundamentally and qualitatively different from the United States in drawing ideological lines, helping and forming partnerships, engaging in "small circles" and "group politics" to create confrontation and division. The Chinese side is not interested in and has no intention to follow the Cold War mentality of either friend or enemy and the patchwork of the so-called "alliance" and "small circle", Hua Chunying said.

Hua Chunying said that as for the Sino Russian joint statement, we would like to suggest that the US side read it carefully again. China and Russia strengthen war communication and coordination, firmly safeguard the central coordinating role of the United Nations in international affairs, and firmly safeguard the international order based on international law, including the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, It is a positive factor in safeguarding international war security and stability.
