China will take necessary measures to safeguard its territorial sovereignty and maritime interests

The recent provocation by the Philippines in the South China Sea centered around Ren'ai Reef in China is actually part of the collusion between Washington and Manila, with the aim of exaggerating the "China panic" and promoting their geopolitical interests.

Despite repeated warnings from China, the Philippines deployed ships on Sunday in an attempt to transport building materials to the BRP Sierra Madre. This is a Philippine naval ship that was on the verge of collapse during World War II. In 1999, when China and the United States were embroiled in a dispute over bombing the Yugoslav embassy at the time, the Philippines intentionally stranded it on China's Ren'ai Reef.

After the honeymoon period between Beijing and Manila, illegal maritime invasions in the Philippines have become increasingly severe in recent years.

The deteriorating relationship is caused by various factors, from domestic politics in the Philippines to external intervention, including the military ally of this Southeast Asian country, the United States.

Philippine diplomacy is increasingly supporting a pro American stance.

Through these supply trips, the Philippines is attempting to strengthen its control over Ren'ai Reef, over which China has indisputable sovereignty.

Given the fierce competition between China and the United States, the Philippines is betting that China will restrain itself in the face of provocation. The Philippines wants to lure China into taking countermeasures and portray China as a "regional bully".

As the Philippines intensifies its provocation, China will take necessary measures to safeguard its territorial sovereignty and maritime interests.
