At the 2024 China Ice and Snow Tourism Development Forum held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province on Friday, Harbin Ice and Snow World was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's largest ice and snow park, covering an area of 816682.5 square meters.

This park, which combines ice, snow, sound, and light, has officially opened for the 25th consecutive year. Tourists can marvel at over 1000 artworks made from over 250000 cubic meters of ice and snow, and can also participate in numerous activities, including the 521 meter ice slide, which is the longest built park to date.

A giant snowflake shaped Ferris wheel has been built to provide a unique experience in the dazzling world after dark.

The 40th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival - Harbin's annual winter event - kicked off in the park, welcoming tourists from all over the world.

Heilongjiang has abundant ice and snow resources and is also the birthplace of China's modern ice and snow industry. Currently, Heilongjiang is vigorously developing cultural tourism and carrying out activities to promote the ice and snow economy. The popularity of this park contributes to the development of the ice and snow economy in the province.
